Welcome to Carlton Art – My on line gallery of original works - portraits, landscapes and sketches in various media.

 Living in rural Lincolnshire for the last ten years, I have had opportunity to devote more time to my interest in art. Inspired by the beautiful, peaceful countryside I wanted to capture familiar places, moving onto portraits of friends, family, fictional characters and even beloved pets.    

 These are just a few examples of my work,  a selection of watercolour paintings, coloured and graphite pencil sketches.  Since the arrival of my family, I now work mainly from photographs and will happily consider commissions at very reasonable prices.
